To: High Seas Fleet
HQ
From: Kommodore Irick
Early scouting reports indicate that bombers have hit and severely damaged
former IJN Mikuma. Several holes have been seen in her side due to torpedo
hits. Not expected to see duty in coming month. HMS Nelson also damaged.
Dock crews strapped for time to get ANY ship operational, all efforts are
focused on Nelson repairs.
French fleet is currently silent. Communication center knocked out as well
as rail yards to prevent receipt of raw materials for repair. Unknown if
spares already "in-house" to complete repairs. Damage to Napoleon unknown at
t his time.
Request orders as a result of meeting of 13 April. Expect Z-46 to sortie
with Italian TT armed CL's to create torpedo at enemy warships.
